One of the most emblematic Restaurants in Porto Côvo.
In Porto Côvo, the Marquês has a real empire: restaurant / brewery, pastry / ice cream shop and craft shop. Let’s start with the first one. We advise a meal of snacks, from fresh seafood to black pork, from shells to santola, to cheeses. If you are not satisfied, you still have the time to order a mass of fish.
Sea products are preponderant in the kitchen of this house specializing in snacks. Good note for seafood (own nursery) and for shellfish and egg salads.
In the dishes of greater substance they crowd the fish mass, the shellfish feijoada and the seafood rice.
Another pitéu is the specialty of the house, which consists of mixed cuttlefish and streak accompanied with cockle (or lingueirão) rice.
The atmosphere is relaxed but with a funny decor. Across the road, you will find the pastries of the same owners, with regional cakes, based on almond and eggs, very interesting. Down the main street is the belvedere, scenery for a landscape so inhospitable, especially when the sea is brave, how attractive.
